I guess it's true..

Hey look, a selfie. About 85 percent
of my selfies are funny faces
because I am not a normal child.
So I guess it's true. I have become, and probably have always been, the average teenage girl. I take selfies and post them to social media, I spend a ridiculous amount of time on my phone, and now I have a blog. I never planned on ever starting a blog. Like, ever. But with it being Christmas break, staying at home, being up until 3 or 4 in the morning, and watching my nightly Friends and Love it or List it episodes, there is nothing else to do. Plus, on top of everything, I made a couple of bucket lists. That's right! Not one, but two bucket lists! I lay down in my bed at night (right now a blow up bed in  the middle of my mothers living room) and think about everything that I want to do in life and what I want to change in my life. I have so many things that I want to do, but a life bucket list would be way to long for the night, seeing as it already is 2 am. I guess I should give credit to "23 Things to do Instead of Getting Engaged Before You're 23," by Vanessa Elizabeth. I came across this blog whilst browsing through Facebook, reading through it I found things that would be cool to do this year. Inspiring me to be just like everybody else.While making my first list, "Things to do before 2015," (Yes, so original) I did take some things from Vanessa, but most of them are ones that I have always wanted to do, with the help of Google, I guess. So here we go, bucket list number one;

Things to do before 2015
1. Get a passport (Inspired from Vanessa)
2. Skydive
3. Road trip for a shopping spree (out of state)
4. Ride a hot air balloon
5. Ride a horse
6. Get a tattoo
7. See Green River Ordinance again
8. Make a will (I'm 18, might as well)
9. Start and finish Dick Winters memoirs
10. Lose my 'love handles' and some excess body weight
11. Go skiing
12. Buy 7 of my saved product on Wanelo
13. Take someones family photos
14. Hangout naked in front of a window (Inspired from Vanessa)
15. Save at least $500

No. No, this is not a 'New Years Resolution.' This is more of a 'work at your own speed, get shit done' kind of thing if that makes sense. I think of everything that I want to start working on (but have no motivation for) at least twelve times a day. It's just like a diet, I start for maybe two hours, give up, and eat some Christmas candy. Or when I'm in my dorm I tend to make cheesecake once a week... I need to stop doing that, too...

16. Stop making cheesecake for fun

 So what do I do to get motivated (or keep myself from forgetting)? I make a list... or two. And if you ask my roommates, my room, phone, and car are all full of lists. I guess you could say I'm a list person. In the process of getting 'motivated' I made a spring semester bucket list, too. So here we go...again;

Things to do before end of Freshman spring semester.
1. Write your feelings down in a blog (Inspired from Vanessa, this blog doesn't count)
2. Accomplish a Pinterest project
3. Make out with a stranger (Inspired from Vanessa)
4. Have a 3.2 GPA this semester
5. Get inverted cheerleading jumps
6. Finish Band of Brothers the novel
7. Work out in the Rec outside of cheerleading
8. Go to a baseball game
9. Dance on a table
10. Work again
11. Play messy twister
12. DIY phone case
13. Cover wall with decorations
14. Fill entire African coloring book
15. Send letters to people for fun :)

Everything on both of my lists are very doable. The thing is getting motivated. My hope is that when I do try to complete something, I can post about my 'journey' or 'the climb' of completing my lists. I love to write, on my own time I should say, and hopefully my love of lists and writing will blend so awesomely so that I can get shit done. But let's be honest, there is about a 35% chance this will be my only post. Well, we'll see.

Ready. Set. Go.

Just another average teenage girl spilling her life into the Internet.
Let's do it.
