Periscope: My new favorite thing

Hi guys!

Has anyone been able to try out this new app called Periscope at all? I cannot get enough of it!

So basically you live stream what is happening onto the app and people can sit there and watch. They can give you heart by tapping on the screen, or they can comment and communicate with you.

We are in the last week of classes and next week is finals. Therefore I am procrastinating on Periscope. My roommate and her boyfriend did a chat session with people. Some people are really funny, but honestly, other are seriously creepy. And this goes for the rest of the internet. Some guy kept asking me who Mike Hunt was... I kept telling him no I didn't. Until finally somebody told me what really was going on...

I also got asked some really personal questions about other and about myself. Somethings I believe should be private. But if you need advice and you want to be open about it, then sure, but I am not going to tell you what street I live on. That's seriously not cool.

Bottom line is the internet is pretty full of creepers, this is a known fact. What isn't known yet is periscope. People are live streaming the riots in Baltimore, their walks to the vending machine, their talents, and sometimes other things that are just click bait, so beware...

Also, double tapping the screen switches the camera front to back. I don't like to see myself so the first time I accidentally saw myself I was surprised at how many double chins I really do have. Not cool.

I'm not super thrilled about the search options either. Basically there are none. you can either see the recent posts of who you follow or you can see who is live at the moment. There is no option to turn off other languages, or to search certain locations, or to even block somebody.

The app is pretty new and is still in the stage of fixing things that people want. Sometimes it is not very user friendly. Even after all of these things I am in love. My new favorite app to play around on. My favorite are live viewings of cats. Of course.

Have fun exploring the live feed out there! :)

Is this adulthood? I hate it

Oh my Lord.

Oh Lord.

Oh my goodness.

Theres less than 30 days of school left in the semester.

Where did the time go?!?!

This is my inner voice screaming.
And, yes, I am a cat on the inside
I can't stop freaking out. I can't. My to-do list just grew three times in the last week and there are less than 30 days left of this school year.

What now? All I want to do is watch Malcolm in the Middle and take a four hour nap everyday. All I want to do is eat. All I want to do is go home. All I want to do is not do my work.

I literally have to force myself out of bed to go to class or to the library. I am freaking out, there is so much to do in so little time. Not only do I have school work to do, but I have to spend my nights working and extra time for my work study.

Is this what being an adult is like? I don't want to grow up anymore. No. Not doing it.

I am so excited to get through the school year and start an internship. I know it will be stressful but at least I will only have one place to be rather than three places to be at one time.

These next few weeks can't be that bad. All I have to do is schedule out my time for when to do my homework and online class. But then there is also my final projects, and six stories that I have to write, and I still have to be accepted for an internship. Okay, maybe it will be bad.

But hey, On the bright side there are less than 30 days left of the semester. Yeah, okay.

I can do this.

Let's do this.

Oh Lord.

Stressful.

Freaking out.
